Welcome to the British Karate-Do Shito-Kai website. This website is in place to support JKF/WSKF Shito-Kai Karate-Do in the United Kingdom. Currently we have no officers or delegates and act as a reference and contact point only. If you have a question about Shito-Ryu/Shito-Kai which we cannot answer, we will endeavour to contact those with a deeper knowledge and understanding than ourselves to provide the information you require. Please be patient awaiting your answer.

Please note at this time we are unable to provide memberships or affiliations. Our hope is that in the future we would be able to bring together all Shito-Kai members in the UK.

The style of Karate known as Shito-Ryu is one of the four major Karate styles in the world with many associations and dojo. The largest of these is the prestigious, JKF/WSKF Shito-Kai headed by Soke Kenei Mabuni, the direct inheritor and son of the founder of Shito-Ryu Karate-Do. This site will provide you with information about our style of Karate, history, personalities and much more.
